Wickham Road
Street guide, Fareham
Wickham Road is the main road heading north out of Fareham towards the village of Wickham and the Meon Valley. It carries the A32 designation and is one of the busiest routes in the area, particularly during peak hours. The road passes through Wallington and continues through open countryside to Wickham. Commercial properties line parts of the road near the town centre, including car showrooms and trade premises. Further north, the character becomes more residential and then rural. The junction with the A27 at the Delme roundabout is a significant traffic node. Wickham Road has been a route out of Fareham for centuries, connecting the market town to the agricultural villages of the Meon Valley.
