Osborn Road is one of the busier roads in the town centre area, running parallel to and south of West Street. It provides vehicular access to the southern side of the town centre and connects to the multi-storey car parks that serve the shopping area. The street has a mix of uses including offices, a dental practice, residential properties, and access to the rear of High Street businesses. Osborn Road South continues towards the A27 and the Quay area. The street is functional rather than attractive, serving primarily as a traffic route and car park access. Some of the buildings on the northern side back onto the High Street properties. There are a few businesses with Osborn Road addresses, but the main commercial activity is on the parallel High Street.
