Peak Lane
Street guide, Fareham
Peak Lane runs north from the western edge of the town centre towards Wallington and the A27. It is a residential road for most of its length, with a mix of housing from different periods. The southern end near the town centre has some older properties, while the northern section passes through areas developed in the mid-to-late twentieth century. Peak Lane provides access to Harrison Primary School and to the western side of the Fareham Common area. The road carries moderate local traffic and is used by bus services. The junction with the A27 at the northern end can be busy during peak hours. There is a small parade of shops near the school.
