Fareham Park Road
Street guide, Fareham
Fareham Park Road runs along the northern edge of the Fareham Common area, connecting Peak Lane in the west to the Gudge Heath Lane area in the east. It is a residential road lined with a mix of inter-war and post-war housing, predominantly semi-detached and detached houses with front gardens. The road forms something of a boundary between the established residential area of Fareham Common and the more open land to the north. Properties along the road are typically family-sized with three or four bedrooms. The road carries a moderate amount of local traffic but is not a through route for heavy vehicles. Fareham Park Road provides access to several cul-de-sacs and side roads that form the northern part of the Fareham Common residential area. The road has a settled, suburban character.
