Cams Hill is both a road and an area name, running south-east from the A27 towards the Cams estate and Fareham Creek. The road provides access to Cams Hill School and the residential streets that branch off it. Housing along the road is predominantly mid-to-late twentieth century, with some newer development closer to the Cams Hall estate. The road is moderately busy with school traffic during term time. The lower section of Cams Hill approaches the creek and provides views across the water. The Cams Hall Estate golf course and its associated development lie at the southern end. There are bus stops along the road serving routes between Fareham and Gosport.
