Hampshire's Market Town

Holy Trinity Church

Heritage, Fareham

Holy Trinity Church stands on the High Street, providing a focal point for the pedestrianised town centre. The current building dates from the mid-nineteenth century, though there has been a church on or near the site for considerably longer. The church is the Anglican parish church for central Fareham and holds regular services. Its position on the High Street makes it visible to all who use the town centre, and it contributes to the sense of continuity that connects modern Fareham to its market town past. The churchyard provides a small green space within the commercial area.
